Obituary of Nancy Brennan

Nancy Bond Brennan, age 66, of Westport and formerly of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Bridgeport Hospital with her family by her side.

Born in Bridgeport on September 5, 1957, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Maxine Main Bond.  Nancy was an extraordinary acrobatic dancer and was sought by Muriel Grossfeld (Olympic gymnastics coach) and three Tony award winning shows.  Nancy worked in property management for most of her career and oversaw the renovation of the Westfield Mall in Trumbull.  She worked independently as an office manager and bookkeeper toward the end of her career.  However, Nancy always said the highlight of her working life was being the nanny to her twin nephews, Keith and Dan Bond for many years.

She will be truly missed by her family for her kindness, her generosity and her spirited sense of fun. Nancy was predeceased by her parents and her brother-in-law Jerome Cook.

She is survived by her two sisters, Maxine Petruccelli (Charles) and Margaret Cook, and her brother, Chet Bond (Gina).  Her niece Emily Plant (Brian) and nephews Bryce Petruccelli (Mollie), Keith and Daniel Bond and her great-nephews and her niece will miss her. She also leaves her companion, Derek Minardi, and former husband, Kevin Brennan.

A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4 -7 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
