Obituary of William H. Miller Jr.

William H. Miller, Jr., age 69, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Kyung Hee (Lee) Miller for 46 years. Born in Bridgeport on April 26, 1954, he was the first son of the late William H. Miller, Sr. and Rita Irene (Motasky) Miller and was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport.

Bill was a graduate of Bullard Havens (Class of 1973) where he studied to be an electrician. He went on to work at DRS Fermont in Bridgeport for over 30 years where he worked his way up to a Senior Purchasing Agent. He finished his career in Sales at Park Distributors in Bridgeport where he retired from in 2020.

Bill loved watching football, especially the Indianapolis Colts and the Washington Redskins. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his children and friends, and watching war related documentaries. He kept himself busy as the household handyman and was always working on a home improvement project. But, his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren and his two dogs Chewy and Sammy. Bill was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his beloved wife, Kyung Hee, survivors include his three loving children, William Lee Miller and his wife Julie, Karen Lee Miller Newton and her husband Dakota and Edward Lee Miller and his wife Jennie, a sister, Rita Davis and her husband Gary, a brother, Charles Miller and his wife Barbara and eight cherished grandchildren, Jayda-Lynn, Donovan, Gavin, Dalton, Darwin, Dustin, Lincoln and Reagan as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be private. Friends may greet the family on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
