Obituary of Marian C. Pace

Marian Caligiuri Pace, age 96, a long time Trumbull resident, and beloved wife of the late Thomas S. Pace, Sr., passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on December 12, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Marietta Giannone Caligiuri.

Marian was a retired employee of General Electric Company of Bridgeport, Marian was also employed by the former MacKenzie Pharmacy in Trumbull as well as CCM Insurance-Curtiss, Crandon & Moffette, Inc., of Trumbull.

In her younger days, Marian loved to dance especially at the Ritz Ballroom in Bridgeport. Marian enjoyed cooking for her family, long rides with her husband, Tom, and she enjoyed going to the theater with close, dear friends. She and Tom were members of the Trumbull Marriott Health Club where they loved to swim. Marian was a graduate of Harding High School, in Bridgeport.

Survivors include her two cherished sons, Thomas S. Pace, Jr., and his wife, Barbara of Fairfield and Jeffrey J. Pace and cherished fur grandson, Jack, both of Trumbull. In addition to her parents and her loving husband of 51 years, Marian was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph Caliguri, Angelina Galante and Peter Caligiure Sr. Marian is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sal and Mary Jo Pace, of Stratford, sister-in-law Florence Pace Johnson as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday morning from 9:00 am to 10:30 am in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
