Obituary of John A. Crisanti

John A. Crisanti, age 83, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Barbara J. Glynn Crisanti, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 7, 2023 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 4, 1940 in Bridgeport, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Mary Gulino Crisanti. A U.S. Army veteran, John was retired after 37 years of dedicated service from the U.S. Baird Corporation, where he served as CFO and Treasurer.

An avid golfer, after his retirement he went on to work as a ranger and starter for the Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course until May of this year. He was a member of the Gaelic American Club, Elks Club and was a past board member of the Manufacturers Association of Stratford.

But above all things, John was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He was at his best when spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. The unconditional love he gave and the values he taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his three loving children, Donna Santos and her husband Humberto of Trumbull, Richard J. Crisanti and his wife Marisa of Naples, Fl, and Denise Rozelle and her husband James of Fairfield, six cherished grandchildren, Samantha and Cristina Crisanti, Sophia and Alaina Santos and Owen and Madison Rozelle, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his three brothers, Joseph, George and Philip Crisanti.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford.
