Obituary of Margaret Agnes Festini
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our mother Margaret (Peggy) Festini on August 11th 2023; she died peacefully in her sleep. Peggy was born in New York, NY on November 29, 1937, and was a longtime resident of Shelton, CT. She was predeceased by her husband Francisco Festini.
Survivors include her daughter Francine Festini and (husband) James Link, daughter Margery Festini and (fiancé) Art Evans, daughter Janis Festini Hayes, son Frank and (wife) Gina Festini, daughter Susanne Festini and (husband) Scott Vander Vennet. Her grandchildren include Carl, Stephen and (wife) Katie, and Sandra Link, Sean and Hannah Kozdeba, Agnes and Isaac Haynes, Marlee and Zoë Figueroa, Sophia and Charlotte Festini and a great granddaughter Heidi Link. She also has three sisters: Susanne Guttenberg, Rebecca Riva, and Janis Herger Hilton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Gardner Heights for the gentle and loving care they provided.
A "Celebration of Life & Memorial Service" will be held on Tuesday, August 15th 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road Trumbull CT. Family and friends are invited to come and share fond memories and stories.
