Obituary of Robert D. Reynolds
On August 5, 2023 in Meriden, Connecticut, Robert Reynolds passed away peacefully.
Born on Thanksgiving Day in 1937 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he graduated from Johnson Trade School in 1955. He relocated to Connecticut in 1956 to work for Avco/Lycoming in Stratford, CT in the Experimental Machining Division for Missile System Development. After a few short years, he was promoted to leadman. While working days, he attended the University of Bridgeport evenings, and after seven years received a degree in Mechanical Engineering and was transferred to Process Engineering. He later joined Winchester Firearms in New Haven, CT as a New Product Development Engineer where he worked for seven years. In 1978 he joined with his brother Thomas to establish Reynolds Technical Services, an Engineering Temp Agency. He retired and moved to Arizona at the end of 1999. He was a member and officer in the National Association of Temporary Personnel and a longtime member of the Mill River Country Club in Stratford.
He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Kathy.
He is survived by their four daughters, Kathleen Pangrac of Beacon Falls, Patricia Monaco (Bob) of Northford, Teresa Grow (Jamie Coccoluto) of Madison, and Eileen Becker (Michael) of Wallingford. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, as well as three great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 4 – 7 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull. Burial will be private.
