Robert was a wonderful addition to the choir. His love of music and singing was always inspiring. He had a deep passion for education and shared many of his stories with me. He will be greatly missed, but he is definitely in a better place.

I sang with Bob for about 10 years at rehearsals and special Masses at the Diocesan Cathedral in Bridgeport. He was a kind, gentle man and I looked forward to seeing him at these events. He would often talk about teaching students at Sacred Heart and Housatonic and it was obvious he had great concern for his students. He was also very proud of his daughter's acting career in Chicago.
Requiescat in pace, Bob

Mr. Caciopoli was a great man and teacher. As my 9th grade English teacher, he made me feel safe, seen and valued. I’ll never forget that. I wanted to do the same for other kids because of him. Rest well, Sir and well done.

He was a good man, with empathy and compassion. He was my 8th grade teacher at Elias Howe school. I was young and uncertain about where my life was going. He gave me food for thought, think positive, believe in yourself and never let anyone tell you that you can't make it. I am sure that I was not the only youth that he touched. His spirit to help others was electrifying. He will be missed. Ase!

Professor Caciopoli,
You were the best professor I had at UB. I remember being in your FYS class and visiting you 3x a week for tutoring in SSS. You will be deeply missed. I am glad I called you this March 9th and spoke to you. We planned lunch for later this summer, you will be truly missed & I will never forget how you inspired me to continue my Master’s at UB and become a teacher.

Mr. Caciopoli was hands down one of my favorite all time teachers. He allowed me as a high school student in his English class to think expansively, articulate my thoughts and challenge status quos. He was a “teacher for the students” and also a kind man. Sometimes we underestimate the kindness students need when entering into a school building everyday. I will miss Mr. Caciopoli but his kindness and graciousness are forever etched in my own value system. My heart and true condolences go out to his lovely wife and family at this time.
Warmly,
Seitu Jemel Hart
