I am very sorry to hear of Mrs. Ambrose passing. That's what I always knew her as from the my childhood neighborhood and as an adult. I was Babara and Ray's next door neighbor for many years here in Fla. They always treated me with love and kindness whenever we were together which was often.I will always miss them.May she rest in peace.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh......,. How lucky I am to have known this person!!! And I am so blessed to have all the countless memories of the laughter we shared. Through all the dramas.we'd seek out and find hope..... and for all the joys, we'd celebrate like kids!!! Mrs. Ambrose (Barbara) was a integral part of my childhood. She took me under her wing as her "7th" child and I will be forever grateful. She was a role model to all with her kind heart and thoughtfulness. May her special and loving spirit live on through the lives she has influenced. Love, Marguerite

Barbara was a very special lady. So lovely inside and out. She was part of mine and my siblings childhood memories. Spending time at Beardsley park, having picnics. I always admired how she managed and cared for her 6 children, With strength and humor. She gave her all. It was a pleasure to have known you and may you Rest In Peace.

Barbara was a nextdoor neighbor of my family's, when we lived in Bridgeport - a dear, kind lady whom I remember most fondly . . . always a friend to my parents and so nice to us kids growing up. My deepest sympathy to all the family.

My family, Fred and Marion DelBianco and their children: Susan, Diane, Karen, and Fred DelBianco, Jr. want to express their sympathy on the loss of dear friend who we loved since the mid-1950's. I remember Barbara would come over our house in Trumbull during the 60's, and 70's, with her children. We remember Barbara as a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She loved being around her family, and was very helpful, loving, and loyal to them. The world is now a smaller place without Barbara but, we know she is now is Heaven! We will miss her earthly presence of course, and we will never forget her. We have so many fond memories of her, and her spirit. May God rest her soul. Barbara was my very dear friend and member of River of Life Church in FL. We shared so many laughs and tears. I was blessed to be her pastor. We all enjoyed her stories of her precious family. It was wonderful to meet many of them. I know Barb is busy talking to Jesus now. Say hello to Dick for me.
