Obituary of Anthony M. Latella

Anthony M. Latella, age 83, of Huntington, died suddenly on Monday, April 11, 2005 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Port Chester, N.Y., he was the son of the late Domenic and Frances Forti Latella, and was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War ll. Tony was a humble, quiet man whose life revolved around his family. He was the proudest grandfather whose greatest joy was watching his grandchildren excel in all their endeavors. Tony enjoyed his later years with his friends at Four Seasons Market and R& S Importing. He also enjoyed his Cherry Group friends and special thanks to Patti and her family, who were always there. Survivors include his beloved wife of 57 years, Felicia Rinaldi Latella, a daughter, Theresa Czarnecki and her husband Joe of Huntington, two brothers, Joe Latella of Wolcott and Phil Latella of Harrison, NY, a sister, Connie Sirani of Harrison, NY, grandchildren, Joseph and Cheryl Czarnecki. He was pre-deceased by two brothers Frank and George Latella. 

Funeral services will take place Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 9 AM from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 AM in St. Lawrence Church, Huntington, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
