In Loving Memory of Geraldine Heatherington Wigzell

June 18, 1945 - May 30, 2023

Geraldine Heatherington Wigzell, age 77 of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in London, England on June 18th, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Atkins) Heatherington and was a long-time resident of Trumbull.

Geraldine emigrated from England with her family in 1981 and will forever be remembered for her warm heart, love for flowers, culinary talents, love of books, adventure and the time she shared with her family and friends. Whether it was preparing delicious meals for her family or through her catering business, her mission to make everyone feel welcome. Geraldine was fierce on the racquetball court and was a wiz with her garden. She loved music and could often be found dancing while doing simple chores. Her Yorkshire puddings and Apricot pies were treasured by all who tasted them.

Prior to her culinary pursuits, Geraldine began her professional career in the banking industry and eventually retired as an office assistant in a law firm. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories that will be held dear by all who knew her.

Geraldine is survived by her two loving children, Andrew Wigzell and his wife Michelle and Helen Wigzell and her husband Tommy Tuccio. She was a devoted grandmother to her four cherished grandchildren, Carter, Olivia, Molly-Anne, and Savannah.

All funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home at 419 White Plains Rd. Trumbull.
