Pre-deceased in 1991 by her husband, John, as well as her son, Richard, daughter in-law, Betsy, and brother, Robert Mower. She is survived by her son Mark of Union, ME., son Alan and his wife Michelle of Folsom, CA., granddaughter Amy Alvarez and her husband Xavier of Stratford, CT.; grandchildren Jack and Sonya Anderson and great-grandsons Zion and Miles Alvarez.

A person is a success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who has gained the respect of intelligent people and affection of children…who appreciates beauty and finds the best in others; who leaves the world a bit better, who knows that even one life has breathed easier because she has lived, this is to have succeeded. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Betty's current and past family and many friends would certainly agree that she led a successful life.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. directly in Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main Street, Trumbull.

Should you desire, a donation in Betty's name to the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust (www.kporttrust.org) or your favorite charity would be much appreciated
