Obituary of James Vincent Esposito

James Vincent Esposito, age 67, of Milford, beloved husband of Patricia Deering Lorenti Esposito, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in the comfort of his home. Born in the Bronx, New York on October 22, 1955, he was a son of the late Vincent James and Gloria Risi Esposito.

An avid sportsman, Jim was a longtime area football coach and was an inspiration to many of his players. He spent much of his time on the sidelines of Notre Dame High School of Fairfield, and Jonathan Law and Foran High Schools of Milford. He enjoyed a good round of golf, boating and playing chess. But nothing was more important than his role as husband, father and grandfather. He was dedicated to the love and care of his family and was at his best when his grandchildren were by his side. The unconditional love he gave and the values he taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Jim will be deeply missed.

In addition to his beloved wife Patricia, survivors include his loving children, Jianine Martin and her husband Steven of Guilford, Nicholas Esposito of Milford, Lizabeth Lorenti of Milford, Aimee Banyacsky and her husband Mark of Seymour and John Gabriel Lorenti and his wife Christine of Orange, seven cherished grandchildren, Mia, Angel, John, Faith, CJ, Santino and Matteo, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Steven Esposito.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 1 – 4 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
