Obituary of Robert P. Pachera

Robert Peter Pachera, age 83 a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, CT passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023 at CT Hospice in Branford, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Bridgeport, CT to Peter and Rita Pachera on July 6, 1939.

 

Robert graduated from Bullard-Havens HS machine shop. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army where he spent four years in Germany as a mechanic. When he returned home from the Army, he worked for Hi-Ho Trucking Company as a mechanic. He then worked for Fruitrich Cadillac & Oldsmobile as a service advisor for 34 Years.

 

Robert  was an usher for St. Andrews church for 10 years. He was board of director for the Monroe Rod & Gun Club. Bob was also a member of the ROSDB Motorcycle Club. Bob loved the outdoors. He loved hunting with his Brittany Spaniel dogs, camping with his family and grandchildren in their motorhome throughout many states from Florida to Nova Scotia. He loved fishing on his boat and Salmon fishing in Pulaski, NY.  He enjoyed life to the fullest, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle every weekend especially the 911 rides. 

 

Robert  is survived by his loving children, Joseph Pachera and Robin Pachera of Coral Springs, FL, John Pachera of Bridgeport, CT and Lisa McBride and Thomas McBride of Weddington, NC. His wonderful grandchildren whom he loved more than life, Isabella Pachera of Coral Springs, FL, John Robert (JR) and Tess Pachera of Shelton, CT, Jack, Carly and Colin McBride of Weddington NC.

 

Robert  was predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years Lucille Pachera, parents Peter and Rita Pachera and sister Elaine Pierenna Pachera. 

 

Our comfort is in knowing that Mom and Dad are together again.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.  A prayer service in celebration of the lives of both Robert and Lucille will take place in the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. Private Burial will be held in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford at the convenience of the family.
