Obituary of Annantonia Valentino

Annantonia Di Blasio Valentino, age 90, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Arcangelo Valentino, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 in the comfort of her home. Born on March 19, 1933 in Casagiove, Caserta, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano and Emanuele Audino Di Blasio. She lived most of her life in Trumbull where along with her devoted husband, they raised their family and were extremely loving and proud of their three children. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, all of which encompassed family, friends and a strong faith. Annantonia was known for her exceptional style, discipline and dignity, which garnered the respect of all. The unconditional love she gave and the values she taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her three loving children, Giovanni (John) Valentino and his wife, Bridget, of Trumbull, Fiorita (Rita) Valentino of Bridgeport, and Gaetano Valentino, of Trumbull, two cherished grandchildren, Dante and Brittani, a sister Elena Zarrella of Stamford, as well as her many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Theresa's Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will follow in the family mausoleum at St. John's Cemetery, Monroe. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
