Obituary of Joan Piccirillo

Joan Crisara Marchetti Piccirillo, age 82, of Bridgeport and a life long resident passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 11, 2023. She attended Warren Harding High School and graduated from Housatonic Community College and was a retired staff member of Bridgeport Health Care Center.

She showed her love and generosity by cooking, sharing and was an advocate to donating. Her spirit will be missed. She was a daughter of the late Frank and Maria Guzzomi Crisara. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Josephine and Stella Crisara.

Her survivors include her four children Paula (Nick), Claire, James and Laura (Timothy). Her sisters Angelina and Michaelina (Chip) and her brother Rocco. Her grandchildren Ashley, Dylan and Tyler and her three great grandchildren, Madeline, Sophie and Harper and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 10 a.m. meeting directly in St. Margaret Shrine, 2523 Park Ave, Bridgeport. Interment will be private.
