Obituary of Nicholas A. Mastroni
After a brave and courageous battle, the family of Nicholas A Mastroni announces his passing on January 10, 2023. He was 94 years old. Nick retired from Textron in 1990 after 35 years of service. An avid golfer he played the game from childhood up to ninety years old when his hip failed him.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Christina DiBiaso, and parents, Mary and Pasquale Mastrianni, and two brothers Guy Panelli and Joseph Mastroni.
A kind, compassionate man he was devoted to his family, especially his wife of 66 years and six children: Rosemary (Bob) Smalberg, Nick (Gail) Mastroni, Louis (Margaret) Mastroni, Tina Mastroni, Nancy (John) Pannese, and Carol (Ronald) Webb. He was the loving grandfather of James Mastroni, Nicole (Sean) Denice, William Mastroni, Jenna (Matt), Jessica and Alexa Pannese, and Riley Webb, all of whom gave him much joy. He is also survived by two nieces and four nephews.
The family extends a special thank you to the home healthcare aides and nurses who assisted in his care over the past two years.
