Obituary of Natale P. Ferrante

Natale P. Ferrante, age 97, of Trumbull, the beloved husband of Clara Garofalo Ferrante, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in the Bronx, New York on October 23, 1925, he was the son of the late Paul and Francesca Menino Ferrante.

A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Ferrante graduated from the Bronx High School of Science and NYU's School of Engineering. He was a mechanical engineer, working for over 35 years at Haines, Lundberg and Waehler of New York City. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, boating, music, and playing the clarinet and saxophone. However, he was happiest when he was surrounded by his family. He will be sadly missed.

In addition to his beloved wife Clara of 67 years, survivors include his loving children, Paul Ferrante and his wife Maria of Stratford; Richard Ferrante and his wife Debra of Old Saybrook; and Carol Young and her husband David of Fairfield. Natale had three cherished grandchildren: Caroline McCabe and her husband Sean, Nicholas Ferrante, and Isabella Young, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Entombment with full military honors will follow in the St. Catherine of Siena Chapel Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
