Obituary of Eileen S. DiBecelle

Eileen S. Robidoux DiBecelle, age 81, of Shelton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Yale New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Philip M. DiBecelle. Born in Fall River, MA on April 25, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Alice Berthiaume Robidoux and was a longtime resident of Shelton.

Eileen had a talent for crafting, she enjoyed ceramics and quilting for family and friends. She loved to cook and would always welcome everyone to her home to a great meal prepared with love. She was a jokester and loved a good laugh and her smile would light up a room. Her greatest joy and memories came from being surrounded by family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and her love and devotion to family will live on in everyone's hearts.

Survivors include three loving children, Debra Moura and her husband Silvestre, Michelle Zack and her husband Timothy and Michael DiBecelle, five cherished grandchildren, Amy DiBecelle (Jesse Brooks), Michele Lerz (Frank), Danielle Moura, Julia and Jenevieve Zack and two adored great grandchildren, Scott Wachter and Isabella Brooks. She is also survived by a niece, Mary Ellen DeLuca and nephews, Russell and Stephen Robidoux. She was predeceased by a son, Scott A. DiBecelle and a brother, Russell Robidoux.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Rd, Trumbull. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull has been entrusted with arrangements.
