Obituary of Frank P. Monaco

Frank Monaco, age 88, of Shelton passed away peacefully on December 14^th, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Anna (Langiulli) Monaco. Born in New York, New York on December 24, 1933, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Anna Chiara (Parente) Monaco. A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Frank had served his country honorably during the Korean War. Frank was an extremely talented and creative man, entertaining others with his famous ring trick and telling jokes. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend of many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his beloved wife Anna of 64 years, other survivors include his loving children, Dr. Vincent “Vinnie” Monaco/wife Shari of Shelton, Liane Monaco of Fallbrook, CA and Dr. Lori Monaco of Shelton, son-in-law, Roberto, his cherished grandchildren, Kris, Michael/wife Kelly, Madeline/fiancée Kevin, Dom/wife Kayla, Samantha, Karaya, Jolie, Beau, and Charlotte, his adored great-granddaughter, Araya, his brother-in-law, Phil/wife Debbie, sister-in-law, Mary Jane, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Luigi “Lou” Monaco.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment with full military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
