Obituary of Tina (Frasca) Bordonaro

Tina (Frasca) Bordonaro, age 92, of Huntington passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Emanuele “Manny” Bordonaro. Born in Sicily, Italy on November 23, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Carmela (Vindigni) Frasca. Mrs. Bordonaro had worked at Sikorsky Aircraft as a purchasing supervisor for many years before her retirement. Her warm heart, faithful regiment of tending to her daily prayers, and genuine compassion for others undoubtedly showed how important her faith was to her. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word find games and also liked to play solitaire. She was quite talented at knitting and her scarf creations will be treasured by all those lucky enough to have received one. Her gardens however were her pride and joy and the meticulous care and time she invested in them did not go unnoticed. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her loving daughter and caregiver, Susan Berthold of Huntington, her son, Robert Bordonaro and his wife Denise of Spokane, WA, her cherished grandchildren, Matthew Berthold and his wife Erin, Tanner Bordonaro and his wife Sarah, and Allie Keller and her husband Austin, her brother, Orazio Frasca and his wife Sharon of Huntington, her niece, Karrie Frasca Beaulieu and her husband Gary of Middlebury and her nephew, Robert Frasca and his wife Monica of MA.

All funeral services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
