Obituary of Charles E. Ciuci

Charles Edward Ciuci, 82, of Stratford passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Carol Ugolik Ciuci for 54 years.

Charles was born May 16, 1940 in The Bronx, NY, a son of the late Charles and Frances Garofalo Ciuci. He was a teacher at Trumbull High School for many years, having received his Bachelor's Degree from Columbia University and his Master's Degree from Fordham University. Charles loved his family and set a quiet example of how to be a family man, devoted husband and loving father. He enjoyed reading, music, was a talented piano player and a devoted Yankees fan.

In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his daughter Lynn Doonan and her husband Tom; his sons Christopher Ciuci and his wife Tammy and Paul Ciuci and his wife Katy; his sister Mary Ann Hasiotis; his grandchildren Carolyn, Rachel, Lauren, Jack, Peter, Molly, Danielle and Gabrielle; and his nephew Jordan Hasiotis. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Victor Hasiotis and his nephew Gregory Hasiotis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford, on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends may greet the family at the church prior to the Mass from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery in Stratford. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Charles memory may be made to St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford, CT 06614. Arrangements are under the direction of Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, Trumbull, CT.
