I am actually Joan’s Aunt Jean, although I was only nine months older than her. We grew up together, we wore each other’s clothes, went to the same school, and shared the same boyfriends until she met Charlie. We remained close over the years, even though we were separated by thousands of miles. I will miss her dearly.
