Obituary of Joseph J. Firgeleski

Joseph John Firgeleski Jr., age 72, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at home with his loving family by his side. Joe was born in Fairfield, the son of the late Joseph John and Sophie Lasky Firgeleski Sr. He was the devoted husband of 50 years to Mary Ellen Falco Firgeleski. Joe was a resident of Trumbull for the past 45 years. He graduated from Andrew Warde High School and served his country in the U. S. Armed Forces. Joe was employed at Harvey Hubbell in Bridgeport for over 30 years, and for the past 18 years assisted his son at Firgeleski Chiropractic Center in Trumbull. Joes life centered around his love and devotion for his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, who was happiest when he was spending time with his family. He had a great love for music, dancing, roller coasters and family vacations. In addition to his wife Mary Ellen, survivors include a son, Joseph John Firgeleski, III of Trumbull, three daughters, Michele Fagan of Monroe, Pamela Bevilacqua of Trumbull and Carolyn Garamella of Monroe, daughter-in-law, Susan Firgeleski, sons-in-law, Daniel Fagan, John Bevilacqua and Dean Garamella, ten grandchildren, Brianna and Cadence Firgeleski, Sophia, Daniel, Amanda and Hannah Fagan, John and Matthew Bevilacqua, Colin and Ryan Garamella and a brother, Edward Firgeleski and his wife Loretta of Fairfield as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours.
