You probably never expected to get a message from someone like me. I was born in Bpt. hosp. in Feb of 1941 and lived on Conn. Ave. until 1955. I went to Lincoln School and unfortunately all I remember of Joyce was her maiden name when I saw it in the paper. I was a classmate of Joyce in Lincoln School. My sinceriest sympathy to her friends and family.

Today would have been my mother's 81st birthday. Now that she's free from the suffering of the past couple of years it doesn't seem inappropriate to say Happy Birthday to our best, most loving wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, aunt, and mother-in-law. Love always, your family.

Distance kept us from visiting often, but when we did, it was such fun. Her family was most important. Email kept us in touch, and I'd hear of weddings, birth, and other momentous occasions. It made her so happy. And thoughtful beyond measure (she never missed an October). How sad we've lost that lovey face and endearing smile, and a cousin I'll so remember. My heartfelt condolences to Don and the family.
