Obituary of Helen F. Lathrop

Helen F. Lathrop, 93, of Trumbull passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late John R. Lathrop.

Helen was born June 17, 1929, the daughter of the late John and Mary Carew Boland. She lived in this area her entire life and enjoyed her home in Trumbull for over 66 years. Helen enjoyed the simple things in life, gardening, flea markets, the Goshen Fair and the Christmas Tree Shops with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son Bill Lathrop; her brother Jack Boland of Kentucky and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband John, she was predeceased by her son Robert Lathrop and her brothers Walt and Dick Boland.

A memorial service and burial in Long Hill Cemetery will be announced and held at a later date.
