Obituary of Vincent J. LaConte

Vincent J. LaConte, Jr., age 69, of Stratford, a retired employee of Connecticut Distributors Inc. with 36 years of service, died on Friday, June 5, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on May 6, 1940, he was a son of the late Vincent and Ann (Passaro) LaConte. A 1959 graduate of Central High School, he served as a private in the National Guard. He was a Third Degree Knight of Columbus and had played baseball in the Senior City League. He was pre-deceased by his first wife Rita (Daddana) LaConte. Survivors include his wife Paula Trainor LaConte, children Vincent (Lynn) LaConte, Sherri LaConte, Bonnie LaConte McIlhoney, Brenda LaConte, Anthony Gallo and Andrianna Gallo, sisters Susan (Mario) Pizighelli, Roseann (Richard Lefty) Edwards, Maria (Andrew) Cavalotto, brothers Fred (Joanna) LaConte, Thomas (Debra) LaConte and Edward (Karen Marie) LaConte, his mother-in-law June Trainor, sisters-in-law Teresa (Ronald) LaBelle, Karen (Ken) Mazur and Kathy (Ken) Cote, brothers-in-law, David (Debra) Trainor, Tim Trainor, Kevin (JoAnn) Trainor, Andrew (Lorie) Trainor, Brendan (Debra) Trainor, grandchildren, Lindsey Rich, Vincent LaConte, Bailey McIlhoney, Raymond McIlhoney, Brandy LaConte and Alexander Savignac, special friends Raymond McIlhoney and Dave Irving and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
