Our family lives in a neighboring town in CT. To the McGrath Parents: we never had the pleasure to meet your beautiful son, who clearly was living his best life and thriving in your family and community. As a mother of three, I cannot imagine the grief you are enduring and send abundant love and prayers to you as you carry this cross and walk this difficult journey. God is with the grieving and He will hold you in His Hands so keep believing and loving. We send our prayers to your daughter, and also to the three surviving boys, all the kids who had to witness this violence, as well as the beautiful neighbor who we read is a nurse and came to your son's side and tried to administer aid.
A Family Praying for you, from Greenwich, CT

I never met Jimmy or anyone involved.
I grew up in Shelton and remember attending many house parties throughout high school. I had many friends that went to Prep, some of which I still talk to.
This story hit home hard for me (I do not live in CT anymore) and wanted to share my heartfelt condolences to Jimmy’s family.
Know that even strangers are praying and caring about you guys. Much love
