Obituary of Rose Marie Tombolato
Rose Marie Tombolato, age 85, of Huntington, beloved wife of the late Bruno “Ray” Tombolato, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on May 13, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Palma Paradiso Mandolfo.
Rose enjoyed her life to the fullest, especially summers spent with her husband and family at the Jersey shore, and their fishing trips on Long Island Sound and Montauk. She truly enjoyed every day and made those around her feel loved. Rose loved her trips to the casino to play the slots and roll the dice. Her true love and passion was her family; she loved to spend time with them, especially her grandchildren, Carla and Vincent. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her two loving daughters, Caroline Tombolato of Milford and Joanne Dias of Ledyard, grandchildren, Carla, and Vincent and their father Albert Dias, a special niece, Danielle Dragone and her husband Tony and their children Madelyn and Anthony. Also survived by three brothers, Joseph Mandolfo and his wife Chris of Melbourne FL, Anthony Mandolfo of Ansonia and Dominic Mandolfo of Stratford. She was predeceased by sisters Concetta Crudo and Emily Schiappa, and two brothers, Benjamin Mandolfo and William DeMilt.
All Funeral services and burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull, were held privately for the immediate family. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
