Obituary of Vanessa Moreira Dos Santos

Vanessa Moreira Dos Santos, age 27, of Bridgeport, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Born in Bridgeport on November 4, 1994 she was a daughter of Carlos Manuel Dos Santos and Maria de Fatima Moreira Dos Santos of Bridgeport. A graduate of Central High School Class of 2012, she attended Housatonic Community College and graduated from Porter and Chester Institute with a certificate in the dental field.

Vanessa was a kind and loving daughter and sister. She loved walks on the beach, hikes and spending time with her family and friends. The memories they created will forever live in their hearts. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her devoted parents, Carlos and Maria, survivors include her loving sister, Jessica Dos Santos, maternal grandparents, Alberto and Albertina Moreira of Bridgeport, her godparents Lucy Vano, Fernando Moreira and his wife Jennifer, cousins, Nicholas and Taylor Moreira all of Bridgeport, as well as many great aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Americo and Maria Dos Santos.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. directly in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 429 Huntington Rd., Bridgeport. Entombment will follow in the Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Relatives and friends may greet the family at a walk-through visitation on Tuesday from 4 – 7 pm at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Social distance and masks are recommended.
