From my earliest memories as a child, we said "Vinny and Ginny" as one word, as if the two of them were one person. We have all heard the expression that someone is joined at the hip; Vinny and Ginny have always been joined at the soul. No amount of distance, no amount of time apart will ever break those soul threads that join them to each other.
As a small child, I saw them as beautiful and glamorous, like movie stars. Later I recognized that they also were (are) gentle and kind, and that they love their daughters, grandchildren and other family members beyond measure.
I cannot talk about Uncle Vinny without mentioning his sense of humor. He is, without a doubt, one of those people who should not be allowed to sit next to any of the rest of us at funerals!
Uncle Vinny, this world will be a sadder place with you no longer in it. Much Love to you.Your niece,
