Obituary of Janice A. Marsan

Janice A. Marsan, age 70, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, December 24, 2021. She was born in Norwalk on November 7, 1951, a daughter of the late Lorenzo Marsan and the late Elizabeth (Krausse) Marsan Murray. Janice's greatest enjoyment was found in the time she spent surrounded by her family, especially her grandson AJ, whom she adored above all else. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Elizabeth Marsan of Bridgeport, her adored grandson, Anthony Funicello and her sisters, Kathleen Dominick and her husband John of Norwalk and Roberta Marsan of Black Rock, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.

Face masks are required.
