Obituary of Marion Heran

Marion Heran, 89, of Trumbull passed away Monday, December 13, 2021. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Heran, Sr.

Marion was born in Bridgeport February 26, 1932, a daughter of the late James and Anna Olah Chimino. She worked as an Executive Secretary for 30 years with Ganim, Ganim and Ganim Law Firm. The joy of her life was her 55-year marriage to Charles and raising their four children. She was so proud of all her children. She could not wait for the arrival of grandchildren to shower with love. Marion loved cooking for family gatherings, super bowl parties and picnics with dear friends. In her spare time, she was an accomplished bowler, loved to dance, enjoyed creating beautiful oil paintings, and was an avid NY Giant fan. Marion loved, laughed, listened, empathized, gave advice and was always there for her family and friends. She will be remembered in the hearts of all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her three sons and their wives, Charles W. Heran, Jr. and his wife Jeanne of Albany, NY, Stephen Heran and his wife Areta of Shelton, and Michael Heran and his wife Kimberly of Newtown; a daughter Kathleen Odoardi and her husband Joseph and daughter Elisa Odoardi of Trumbull; four grandchildren, Kyle, Meghan, James, and Ryan; five great-grandchildren Amelia, Juliette, Theo, Roman and Giorgia; and her brother Paul Chimino.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Bridges by Epoch in Trumbull, and Right at Home in Monroe. A special thank you to Senthia for her care and compassion.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Relatives and friends can greet the family on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
