To Paul’s family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Paul’s leaving us. I know he is with the love of his life Cookie. I met Paul through my dear late boyfriend Rich Zamfino. Rich said Paul was like a brother. That first time Rich and Paul would share stories of their days as neighbors, then best of friends, tell told of pranks they pulled on each other. From the first day of meeting Paul I loved the man he was! Hilarious! His smile and laughter was contagious! He was a devoted husband, father and friend. He was loyal, hardworking, honest, trustworthy
True to his words. He loved his children and grandchildren and proud of them all. I never heard him speak bad about anyone. I am blessed to have had the chance to call him Friend. I send my prayers hugs kisses and love to you all. All those happy memories you have of him will be your comfort in your grief. I will miss you my friend God speed!

Chad, Matthew and Melissa,
We wanted to let you know how sorry we were when we heard about your Dads illness and especially his passing.
As you are aware the Devietro, Zamfino and Devan families were like one big family. It started with a few kind neighborly gestures like shoveling snow and helping each other assemble pools in the backyard. Your Dad was always the first one to offer his help no matter what needed to be done. The days we all went camping together and your Dad and Mom taught us how to go "Snipe" hunting at night. We were always able to laugh and had great times together over the years.
The original Hillhouse "Card Club" is now reassembling in Heaven once again.
R.I.P Paul.
Love Fred, Carrie, Michael and Matthew DeVietro
