Mrs. Cioppa was such a genuine and open person, we felt it every day in her class. Almost unknowingly, her way of just being and interacting with everyone around her helped us learn about our relationships with others. She talked about her kids and family in a casual and natural way, and it allowed us to connect with her as a person.
I came to realize later how this was especially important in our young lives because it was in Art class, a place where we were learning how to express ourselves honestly and genuinely - as best we could - through art. The atmosphere in the classroom was so comfortable - almost with a sense of being in a good home - and she seemed to do this so effortlessly.
I thank her for showing us how teachers and students are all just people - different ages and experiences, but all people - finding their way as best they can, and living through honest relationships with others. She left a deeply positive impression on so many who were impressionable, we were lucky to have her even for brief moments in our lives.

Mom, Grandma
There are so many wonderful memories of you I will always have.
You treated me like a daughter right from the beginning. Sharing our backyards, having coffee on your deck after work, talking about our day. You were always there for me.Thank you for being such a strength to all of us.
You were the best grandmother. I will truly miss your smile your kindness and generosity and most of all how much you loved your grandchildren.
Love you
Katie

Grama,
I will miss you oh so infinitely, things won’t be the same without you here. I remember one of the first memories I had with you was Paulie and I on the swings as you pushed us back and forth while singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Your love was endless and I always could run over to your house when I needed to talk, you were always there. Whether it was dancing around your dining room table singing to Elvis Presley, teaching me about Art or your special ways with food. You instilled in me your love for teaching and inspired me to become a teacher just like you were. Memories of you will never be forgotten. I know you’re up in heaven singing along with Paulie and maybe even Sinatra as well.
Love you always,
Your Niki

Roberta, I will always remember how you warmly and lovingly invited me into your home for many Sunday dinners after Niki and I met. You treated me to the Sunday dinners I and your family loved and shared stories about life, your undeniable passion for art and teaching that will live on for generations.
This photo was from one of the first nights in St. Kitts with Ron and Niki where we had lots of laughs, had some great food and a ton of fun together. You also got to hear me sing Shaggy which is pretty cool. No matter what we were doing you always had a smile and shared your happiness with everyone around you. I'll miss you.
To your family, I'm so sorry for your losses.

Grama, I’m going to miss you more than anything. Our long talks about life, Me reading to you all my writings and us just sitting watching tv as we nit pick every little thing about the show we had on. You helped me in school and in life. You were always the first person I would run to when I was upset or had exciting news about something. You never judged me for my decisions I made no matter if you agreed with them
Or not. You always told me I was born to be a mom, and look at me now! I wish you could of known Jayce more he’s drawing a lot just like you. I love you. Please watch over us like you always said you would. I know you would be proud.
