Obituary of Diane T. Norkin

Diane T. Fleiss Norkin, age 74, of West Palm Beach, Florida, beloved wife of the late Richard A. Norkin, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 12, 2021 at the Connecticut Hospice, comforted by her daughter and her devoted niece Samantha. Born in New York, NY on November 27, 1946, she was a daughter of the Harry and Pearl Bodian Fleiss.

A graduate of George Washington High School, she went on to earn her nursing degree from Lehman College. She was dedicated to the care of her patients for over 45 years and was employed by Mt. Sinai Hospital and Pascack Valley Hospital.

Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Sandler and her partner Daniel DeMaio and Heather Norkin Cahhal and her husband Laine, three grandchildren, Ryan Sandler and Hayden and Lily Cahhal; her identical twin sister, Susan Stouber, her nieces Samantha Stouber and Hillary Stouber-Wenk, her former son-in-law, Gary Sandler and many dear friends.
