He started with PWC and continued with various security institutions. His career ended as an auditor for the department of defense. William enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of Saint Stephen's Parish. He loved cheering on his alma matter of Penn State during their football season. Bill loved the outdoors and enjoyed grilling, fishing, and reading. He enjoyed music and was an advocate of orange marmalade. He loved trivia and could tell you facts from under any rock around. If you heard Yankee baseball on the radio, you could be sure that Bill was trying to take a nap.
In addition to his wife Kathy, he is survived by his daughter Allison Matonak; his brother James Matonak and his little buddy Gustav.
Bill was a positive and vibrant soul. He liked making muffins on Sunday morning for his family and would avidly cook to fill their hearts. He loved to spend his days on home improvement projects especially in his backyard. He was a good person with a big heart and anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him reiterated the same.
