Obituary of Gloria DiTullio
Gloria DiTullio of Trumbull joins her husband of 60 years, Elio, at the gates of Heaven on October 5th, 2021. She passed away with a smile on her face and her loving family by her side. A caring woman with immaculate organization skills and an unmatched attention to details, she proudly worked in the Emergency room admittance department of St. Vincent's Hospital at age 16, and later as an Executive Secretary at Sikorsky Aircraft. Gloria was family-oriented, classy, mature, loving, wise and devoted. Ever the perfectionist, she was in charge of everything, including holiday parties and dinners, where her cooking and hosting skills were unmatched and appreciated by all her family and friends. She always did everything from the heart.
Gloria had a love for travel, and was always on the move. Very active even through her older age, she enjoyed playing tennis as well as walking. As an admirer of the fine arts and musical theater, she was ahead of her time in terms of style and had impeccable taste and class.
She leaves behind her daughter Diane (Edward), son Alfred, grandchildren, brothers John (Linda) and Bob, as well as many others, and she will be deeply missed by all. It was an honor and a privilege to call her our mother. We wish to extend special thanks to Mary Simko and the Erlingheuser family.
