Obituary of Marion Hinds

Marion Rollins Hinds, age 88, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Raymond C. Hinds Sr., passed away peacefully on Friday, October 1, 2021. Born in Medford, Maine on October 27, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Doris Dean Rollins. She was a retired employee of Schick Razor with over 25 years of dedicated service. A member of the Connecticut Audubon Society, Marion loved Birding, and shared her passion with others, who still today enjoy the peace and serenity of Birding. She was also a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford. Marion was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She cared deeply for her family and the unconditional love she gave and the memories they created will forever live in their hearts. In addition to her beloved husband of 68 years, Raymond, survivors include her eight loving children, Mary Anne Stoica, Theresa Miller and her husband Lawrence, Margaret Simms and her husband Ronald, Ellen Pileski and her husband Stephen, Susan Amorando and her husband Ralph, Raymond C. Hinds Jr and his wife April, William Hinds and Michael Hinds, 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Barbara Farrow and Violet Leach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. directly in Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane., Stratford. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton. A walk-through visitation will take place on Wednesday from 3 - 6 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Visitors are recommended to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects, and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through the building.
