Obituary of Darlene J. Auguste

Darlene Jerome Auguste, age 49, beloved wife of Patrick Auguste of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jacmel, Haiti on October 25, 1971, she was a daughter of Marie Claude Jerome and the late Bayard Jerome.

Darlene obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Bridgeport University in General Studies. She also received a Master's degree in Clinical Research from Walden University. She had a professional career in Clinical Data Management and worked at several major Pharmaceuticals and Biotech organizations. She was last employed at Yale New Haven Health Systems as a Clinical Data Abstractor.

Darlene was a strong pillar and contributor in her community, particularly in the evangelical sector. She was affiliated with a number of churches and congregations in Haiti, Canada and throughout the tri-state area. She worked collaboratively with these congregations and was engaged in many humanitarian outreach projects and mission trips to Haiti. Her works in ministry have been impactful and touched many lives. She had a heart for the broken and the poor, specifically children. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and everything related to the gospel of Christ. Her life-long goal and ministry was to see all come to Christ. She will be dearly missed.

In addition to her mother and her beloved husband Patrick of 25 years, survivors include her three loving children, Shindler, Britney and Kyle Auguste, seven brothers and sisters, Marlange (Mama) Dutton and her husband Pierre, Dayard (Bob) Jerome and his wife Geraldine, Pierre Paul Jerome, Kerwin Jerome, Carline Augustin and her husband Jean, Sheilla Jeudi and her husband Luc and Natacha Noisette and her husband Guy. At least 25 nieces and nephews but played a role in raising Arshley, Schneider, Darrel, Dora, Daylin, Skylie, Malachi, Shayden, Ethan, Emma, Landon and Nissi.

Friends may greet the family on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the New Beginnings Community Church, 65 Tokeneke Road, Darien, CT. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday Morning at 9:00 a.m. directly in the New Beginnings Community Church. The burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, 41 Hecker Avenue, Darien, CT (off the Post Road).

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
