Obituary of Maria A. Laracca

Maria Albano Laracca, age 78, of Norwalk, beloved wife of Nicola Laracca, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 23, 2021. Born on October 5, 1942 in Minturno, Province of Latina, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Erasmo and Rosalia Pugliese Albano. Maria immigrated to the United States with her family in 1956 and had lived in Norwalk since she was 14. Maria was a retired sales clerk for Loehman's, Norwalk with over 30 years of dedicated service. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Maria was at her best when the family was together, and her smile could light a room when her grandchildren were around. The unconditional love she gave will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her beloved husband Nicola, of 58 years, survivors include her three loving sons, Ronald Laracca and his wife Karen of Trumbull, Randy Laracca and his wife Tiffiney of Commerce City, CO and Dino Laracca and his wife Cynthia of Lutz, FL, six cherished grandchildren, Adam and his fiancé Christine, Sara, Nicolas, Tyler, Jacob and Kyleigh, brothers, Matthew Albano of New Canaan and Paul Albano and his wife Patricia of Milford, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Carmella Frattaroli and Angela Signore.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be held privately for the immediate family. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to The Mast Cell Disease Society, P.O. Box 416, Sterling MA 01564. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
