Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Lombardo

Mary Elizabeth Lenotti Lombardo, age 79, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 30, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Joseph Lombardo and Henry Fiscella Jr. Born in Bridgeport on October 1, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Armand and Irene Josephine Walsh Lenotti. Mary was a retired sales associate for Sears Roebuck; where she was proudly the first woman to sell big ticket sales items: furniture.

Mary was a very kind, loving and giving person. She always put everyone's needs before her own. Her kind heart and out going personality made everyone around her feel special. She was a good listener and never spoke ill of anyone. The unconditional love she gave and the values that she taught will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. A devoted mother and grandmother, Mary will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her three loving children, Joseph A. Lombardo and his wife Janice of Monroe, Larene Paolini and her husband Kenneth of Trumbull and Wendy Lombardo of Milford, five cherished grandchildren, Haley, Tyler and Brandon Paolini and Carly and Joseph Lombardo; four sisters, Eleanor Iassogna of Milford, Shirley Giampaolo and her husband John of Monroe, Margaret Lenotti of Trumbull and Jean Albanese of Milford, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by her brother, Richard Lenotti and her sister, Dorothy Roberts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Stephen's Church, 6948 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
