Obituary of Lynette Daniela Swanson
Lynette Daniela Swanson, age 33, of Easton, passed away on April 26, 2021 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on November 27, 1987, she was a beloved daughter of Gary and Suzanne Fernandez Swanson of Cape Coral, FL.
Lynette was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School class of 2005 and attended Sacred Heart University. She was currently a team leader in the closing department at Total Mortgage in Orange and a volunteer EMT with the ECHO Hose Dept. in Shelton. During the summer Lynette worked side by side with her father catering for Swanson's Clambakes.
She had a love for German Shepherds and one of the highlights in her life was when her Shepherd Emma delivered 6 puppies. Another great experience for her was while playing travel soccer as a teen she and her team went to Australia to compete.
Lynette was an organ donor and was honored by Norwalk Hospital with a Walk of Honor for saving three lives.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her loving sister, Larissa Swanson of Fairfield and brother, Gary D. Swanson of Cape Coral, FL, her paternal grandmother, Yvette Swanson of Cape Coral, FL and maternal grandmother, Lillian Fernandez of Deltona, FL, her Godparents, Cynthia and Leon Ambrosey of Monroe, uncles, Mark Swanson (Debbie) of CO, David Swanson of FL and Joe Fernandez (Arlene) of Orlando, FL, aunts, Vivian Gingolaski and her husband John of Bridgeport and Lisa Swanson of Trumbull and special cousins, Christopher Swanson and Nicole Roach as well as many other cousins and close friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Gerard A. Swanson, her maternal grandfather, Jose A. Fernandez, her cherished dog, Emma and her boyfriend, Nick Sicilian in 2016.
Friends are invited to meet directly in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Rd., Trumbull at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 to greet the family, followed be a graveside service at 2:00 pm. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
