Obituary of Daniel F. Sagalski

Daniel Sagalski, age 51, of Ridgefield, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2021 at Midstate Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Bridgeport on March 11, 1970, he was the son of Irene Tomaszewski Sagalski and the late Alfred Sagalski. Daniel was a graduate of Bullard Havens, The Culinary Institute of America, and the University of New Haven, graduating with a master’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He was a Chef at various establishments for many years before becoming a Club Manager at Silver Spring Country Club in Ridgefield.

He loved Jaws and lived for Shark Week. He enjoyed fishing, golf, tennis, and the beach. He was a big fan of Harry Potter, Star Wars, and soccer. But his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family and cooking for them on holidays. He was an exceptional chef whose Christmas dinners, family meals, and extraordinary birthday cakes made every occasion extra special.
