Obituary of Anthony C. Tucci
Anthony C. Tucci, age 55 of Trumbull, beloved husband of Sandra Sementilli Tucci, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 with his loving family by his side. He fought a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born in Bridgeport on August 28, 1965, he was the youngest son of Anna Marino Tucci and the late Luigi Tucci.
"Tooch" was a 1983 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Fairfield and later graduated from Fairfield University. He also earned his MBA from the University of Bridgeport. He was currently employed as a Senior Director of IT at DFC Global Corporation.
Anthony was a very hard-working man; he enjoyed working in the yard tending to his garden and picking wild mushrooms. He especially put his creative juices to use and became a wine enthusiast. His passion for basketball was contagious.
Above all things in life, his family was the most important. He instilled a strong work ethic, taught many life lessons to them and always said, "Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance". These values he taught and the memories they created will live on forever. Anthony was a gallant and amazing human being who touched the hearts of so many people. He will be sorely missed!
In addition to his beloved wife of 28 years Sandra, and his mother, survivors include his cherished children, Alessandro Tucci and Claudia Tucci both of Trumbull, a brother Angelo Tucci and his wife Deborah, father and mother-in-law, Mario and Maria Sementilli, brother-in-law, John Sementilli and his wife Linda, nephews and nieces, Angelo Tucci and his wife Caroline Schiff, Jessica Tucci and her fiancé Daniel Varga, Robert Sementilli and Nick Sementilli, as well as many cousins and numerous friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet directly in St. Margaret Shrine, 2205 Park Ave., Bridgeport, on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial.
