Obituary of Debra Ann Fiorini

Debra Ann Fiorini age 66, passed away on the afternoon of Monday, March 29th at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT from an ongoing battle of rigorous Cancer. She was born September 27th, 1954 in Bridgeport, CT to her beloved parents the late Domenic J. Fiorini and Gloria Pesavento-Fiorini.

Debra could light up a room just by walking into it. She had a personality that could keep you intrigued for hours on end. She was known as a "trustworthy" and "devoted" friend. Anyone who knew her would tell you the same. Her smile went on for miles and she was a beautiful person inside and out. Friends and family who had a chance to truly know Debra knew that once you gained her trust you would be able to count on her for life. They would also say she was the type of women who would do anything for you no matter how difficult it may have been. She enjoyed shopping, baking with her daughter and granddaughter, the holidays, dancing, going to see bands, and being around her friends and family. She suffered from Cancer for approximately four years, and still gathered the strength and drive to fight for every spare moment she could have with her family who meant more to her than anything else. She had the biggest heart and was an inspiration to all.

Debra grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut as an only child. Her youth consisted of traveling with family and she had an array of friends. She was eager to learn and was very intelligent. She went to high school at Kobe Cathedral and graduated at the top of her class in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Next, she went to Fairfield University to obtain her BA in Human Resources. She then became an integral part of Oriel Corporation in Stratford, Connecticut for many years as their Human Resource Manager. Debra was a driven professional and was known by her colleagues as "fair and honest."

Debra is survived by her cherished and devoted daughter Tara Ann, her beloved granddaughter and "love of her life" Giuliana Faith, and son in law Michael Spinelli of Fairfield, CT, her Uncle John Fiorini and wife Mary Fiorini of Trumbull, CT and family, her longtime friend Donna Smith of Shelton, CT and family, her niece Erica Bass and family, her partner Robert Rogers and his family, amongst numerous family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her Uncle Angelo Fiorini, and cousin Mark Fiorini, amongst other close relatives.

A walk-through visitation will take place on Thursday, April 8th from 4p.m.-6p.m. at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT 06611. Visitors must wear masks and social distance as they walk through and pay their respects.
