All those who knew Pasquale knew of his profound love for his mother as expressed in lines from a poem by Genie Graveline entitled "A Mother & Son". "There's a very special bond between a mother and her son, / A closeness which grows deeper through the years. / It's marked by tender moments, crazy antics, quiet talks, / And strengthened as they share their hopes and fears." (1-4) These lines best describe the very close relationship Pasquale had shared with his mother throughout the course of his life. They remained best friends until the day he passed.
