Obituary of Pasqualina Guerrera

Pasqualina Mancini Guerrera, age 85, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Michael Guerrera, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Born in Pontelandolfo, Benevento, Italy on April 10, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Lupo and Filomena Mancini. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1957 and settled in Bridgeport, CT, where she would reside for the rest of her life.

A dedicated worker, Pasqualina was employed by a number of companies over the years, including Remington Arms and Sikorsky Aircraft. Pasqualina was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She always made time for her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, and tending to her magnificent garden.  Enormously generous, she gladly shared recipes and the resulting harvest with her family and friends.  The unconditional love she gave will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her beloved husband Michael, Pasqualina is survived by her loving children, Dr. Angelo Guerrera and his wife Janice Portentoso of Fairfield, and Dr. Robert Guerrera and his wife Lisa of Norwalk; four cherished grandchildren, Sophia, Lily, Zachary and Evan Guerrera; her brother Donato Mancini and his wife Maria of Waterbury, and several nieces and nephews.

The family is grateful to Jewish Senior Services for their compassionate care of Pasqualina.
