Obituary of Candice Ann Palange

Candice A. (Porco) Palange, age 62, of Naugatuck passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Daniel R. Palange. Born in Bridgeport on May 20, 1958 she was a daughter of Elvira (Manzo) Porco of Naugatuck and the late Ernest Porco. Candice had been employed by Peter Paul in the quality control department with 20 years of dedicated service. Most recently she served in the capacity of primary care giver to her mother. Candice was a selfless person and always put the needs of others before her own. She was always willing to help anyone in need. She enjoyed traveling and loved her trips to Aruba. Her greatest enjoyment however was found in the time she spent surrounded by her family, she especially enjoyed shopping with her grandchildren. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her beloved husband Daniel of nearly 40 years, other survivors include her loving daughter, Jessica Howell and her husband Jason of Naugatuck, her cherished granddaughter Jalyssa Howell who was the light of her life and her pride and joy, as well as granddaughters Amber, Alyssa and Alaina Howell, her sister, Dawn Cataldo and her husband Robert of Milford and her brother, Ernest Porco of Naugatuck, her sisters-in-law, Joann Tope and her partner Emin, Carmella Tope, Miriam Torres and Albina Fantuilli, her nieces and nephews, Jason Cataldo, Justin Cataldo and his wife Valerie, Joshua Cataldo, Jenna Ireland and her husband Peter and Taylor Porco, as well as several other nieces and nephews to numerous to mention. She also leaves her beloved spirit animal Candy, who will miss Candice greatly. In addition to her father, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Janel Palange and her nephew, Jordan Porco.

Due to the concerns at this time associated with social gatherings, all funeral services and interment will be held privately for the immediate family.
