Obituary of Steven M. Plotkin, Sr.

Steven Michael Plotkin, Sr., age 57 of Seymour, beloved husband of Michelle Leopardi Plotkin, passed away peacefully from complications of frontotemporal dementia on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Maefair Healthcare in Trumbull. Born on January 12, 1964 in Bridgeport, he was the son of Judith Gilbert Plotkin and the late Arnold Morris Plotkin. Steve was a master plumber who owned and operated Steve's Plumbing & Heating Services, LLC in Seymour. He was an avid Bass fisherman, a lifelong Giants fan, and a political junkie. He enjoyed listening to rock and roll music and singing along as loud as he could. Above all, he enjoyed watching his children compete in sports, especially ice and field hockey, as well as spending time at home with his family and friends, whom he cherished greatly. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his beloved wife Michelle of 33 years, he is survived by his three children, Steven, Jr., Shelby, and Sadie, his mother Judith Plotkin of Bridgeport, siblings, Michael Plotkin of Bridgeport and Michele Plotkin of Norwich, as well as nephew Nicholas and nieces Shilah and Erica.
