Obituary of Ralph E. DiBenedetto

Ralph E. DiBenedetto, age 61, of Naugatuck, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital. Born on March 7, 1959 in Introdacqua, Province of L'Aquila, Italy, he was the son of Lucia (Trombetta) DiBenedetto of Naugatuck and the late Ernesto "Tony" DiBenedetto.

Ralph was a caring and genuine good person who loved life and had an inquisitive nature. He enjoyed fixing things and being with people. His love for his family was endless and he devoted himself to the care of both his parents. He was a loving son, brother and uncle and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother, survivors include a loving sister, Bambina Hoyt and her fiancé David Beardsley of Monroe, a niece, Amber Hoyt and a nephew, Layne Hoyt as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Due to the concerns about social gatherings affecting us all at this time, funeral and interment services will be held privately for the immediate family. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
